HARMAN FOLKLORE YOUHT CLUB ISTANBUL / TURKIYE ( Culture, Festival ORG.) was found in 1987 from ISTANBUL in TURKEY and has performed at numerous folk festivals in Europe, The United States and The Middle East. HARMANFOLK CULTURE & FESTIVAL ORG. arranges six different INT. CULTURE FESTIVALS and COMPETITIONS between April – September every year in TURKEY. If you want to join our int. Every year, around 15 folk dance, folk music, brass band, Chorus, Modern dance, theatre groups from all ages take place in ISTANBUL Eurasia Culture Festival from different countries all over the World. CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION International Istanbul CHILDREN-ADULT FOLK DANCE – FOLK MUSIC –FOLK INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC and ALL CHORUS GROUPS Competition is open for both amateur groups . Groups may enter the competition in maximum two categories. Competition Performances are min 6- max 8 minutes .
GENERAL INFORMATION: All depends on groups desire they can participate only competition, only festival performance or both of them. At the period of the competition-festival choir groups and folk dance –music groups one day competition ,one day opening of the festival, one day sightseeing visiting historical area , one day shopping and beach, one day traditional the best excursion in the World with private Boat at lovely Boshporus (separate Europe-Asia). Festival organisation committee will provide one English speaking guide to each group for helping programme schedule. Besides each groups will receive Placate, certificate, for highest scores for each category CUP and among all categories who has the highest score will receive ISTCUP and Each singer will get Medal and certificate. Groups can perform with live music or playback CD- FLASH DISK.
FOLK DANCE ADULT COMPETITION : Min. 16 years of age . groups must wear traditional costumes.
CHILDREN FOLK DANCE COMPETITION : Max. 15 years of age (can be over 15 till 18, %20) groups must wear traditional costumes.
FOLK MUSIC & FOLK INSTRUMENTAL COMPETITION : No age limits groups must wear traditional costumes.
ISTANBUL CHORUS COMPETITION : Children chorus, male chorus, female chorus , mixed chorus.
